Apr 03, 2024 (MarketNewsVideo.com via COMTEX News Network) -- In early trading on Wednesday, shares of Dow topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 1.5%. Year to date, Dow registers a 9.7% gain.

And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Intel, trading down 6.7%. Intel is lower by about 18.4% looking at the year to date performance.

Two other components making moves today are Procter & Gamble, trading down 0.9%, and Caterpillar, trading up 1.2% on the day.
